Key Largo Linear Gas – Black Fire Pit Table

The Key Largo Black Linear Gas Fire Pit table features a special “Midnight Mist” stucco design coloring. This, more than anything, sets it apart from other fire pit tables on the market. This matte black fire pit table includes a glass burner cover and durable supercast molded top. That said, it is smaller than some.

Fiire Analysis

The Key Largo Black Linear Gas Fire Pit is a standard, rectangular fire table. There is a supercast top and stucco finish on the sides, patterned in a speckled “Midnight Mist” style.

Supercast is a patented material that is similar to a refractory cement (i.e. glass fiber reinforced concrete).

Essentially, supercast construction means the top surface won’t heat up. So, you don’t need to worry about damage to items placed on it (or  it burning you). However, it will become warm from the heat given off by the burner.

A sliding hidden door houses a 20 lb propane tank in the stucco base. This black fire pit table also converts to work with natural gas, if desired. A direct spark electronic ignition and variable flame control knob live on the side of the table. A raised glass wind guard for the 42” x 12” stainless steel Crystal Fire burner is also available.

This black fire pit table requires some relatively minor assembly. The burner and fire glass must be put into their designated areas. Then, customers need to connect the burner to the fuel supply. That’s all the setup required.

At $2,278.99, this is a fairly-priced product. That’s especially true when the burner size, unique aesthetic, and durable, heat-resistant supercast top are taken into account.

The Key Largo Black Linear Gas Fire Pit is designed and built in the USA by Outdoor Greatroom Company. This propane gas fire pit table includes free shipping and a warranty.

What People Online Say

Online consumer reviews are extremely positive. The unique aesthetic offered by the table is perhaps the only thing you should be aware of before purchasing.

The “Midnight Mist” design consists of shiny glass flecks embedded in the siding. Also, the top of the table is sleek and shiny. So for those looking for a more traditional, classic fire pit table, the glossy Key Largo probably isn’t the best choice. Other than that, there’s that doesn’t recommend this table.

The Verdict

The Key Largo isn’t for everyone, but it is a great fire pit table for the price. That is, if the sleek, glossy sheen of the “Midnight Mist” design is what you’re looking for. The $2,200 price tag is reasonable for a fire pit table of this size and burner output.

What’s more, the durable supercast concrete molded top and stucco finished frame will stand the test of time, guaranteed. The included grey glass burner cover adds to the bargain. Also, the Crystal Fire burner is both UL and cUL listed for safety.

This table works well as a patio heater or a fire table for an outdoor living space. Lava rock filling pairs especially nicely with this black fire pit table.

State of California residents: Be aware that this product (like all fire pit tables) features a Prop-65 Warning.

Flame Connoisseur – Owen

Owen from Fiire here covering the Key Largo Black Linear Gas Fire Pit. Here’s the deal. This is an excellent table for the cost. It has a wide brim, good heat output at 90,000 BTUs, and a large burner (in comparison to the overall table size).

The only thing to watch out for is that the Midnight Mist black metal siding is flecked to appear almost sparkly. This puts off a cool effect in the firelight, in my opinion, but it isn’t for everyone.
